Counselling and therapy are words that can mean so many different things to people. For some the words mean support, comfort, and reassurance. For others, it means problem solving, skill building and resolution. For still others, these words mean little or have negative connotations due to previous experiences or limited understanding of the process and benefits.
Our counselling approach draws on various styles of therapy. These include cognitive-behavioural approaches, play therapy techniques, art therapy techniques and skill building/educational.
