We all need support, guidance and encouragement along the way for a variety of topics, issues and situations. At Riverdale Centre, we offer different branches; much like a river may have, to meet the needs of our clients in different areas.
Counselling and therapy are words that can mean so many different things to people. For some the words mean support, comfort, and reassurance. For others, it means problem solving, skill building and resolution. For still others, these words mean little or have negative connotations due to previous experiences or limited understanding of the process and benefits. We offer assessment services for learning difficulties and related skills. This includes attention, behaviour and emotional functioning. This type of assessment is known as psychoeducational assessment. This assessment service is available for children, adolescents and adults.
Parenting is one of the most important jobs any of us can ever have. It is very rewarding, but it is also hard work. Work that does not need to be done alone whatever your circumstances. We offer support and help for parents in a variety of ways.
Riverdale Centre offers support services to clients and their families with regard to learning support. This includes education about learning issues, consultation regarding program development, and ways of coping with difficulties.

The office is located at 35 Webster Street, Suite 102 in Kentville.
Please use the side entrance of the building through the double glass doors. Turn left down the hallway and proceed through the blue door. Turn right and you will enter our office suite through the burgundy door at the end of that hall.

Parking
There is ample parking on the surrounding streets including Webster Street and Station Lane. The parking lot on the corner of Station Lane and Cornwallis Street is free all-day parking - see map image below.
The parking lot behind the building is for the use of another business so please refrain from using that lot.
