Jennifer Bernier
Jennifer (Jenn) is a licensed Psychologist (Candidate Register) with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (C10956) and a member of the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia who completed her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology degree at Acadia University.
Jenn provides comprehensive assessment and intervention services to children, adolescents, and young adults for a variety of areas. She particularly enjoys working with children in the middle years (ages 6-12 years old) and their families, including providing parenting support.
Jenn is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and safe environment. She works collaboratively with children, youth, and their families to set goals and create treatment plans to address their unique strengths and challenges. Jenn uses an evidence-based approach to treatment with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.

- Psychoeducational assessments to identify strengths and challenges related to learning and intellectual difficulties
Jenn also provides psychoeducational assessments for young adults to assist with identifying supports in learning and/or employment environments.
